What is the outcome of the third one (need for security) once the person moves on to enter a new romantic relationship? I have a partner who is best friends with his ex girlfriend, they text all throughout the week and talk on the phone almost weekly, he frequently lends her money, they continued to share a dog for nearly a decade after their breakup and she sees him as her primary emotional support person. Is this healthy? Being a female to enter this dynamic it felt like my partner was very enmeshed with her and this has caused a lot of issues.
