I am 83 years old and I walk for a minimum of 1 hour a day, some times up to 3 hours a day. I am what is known as a super ager. I am very fit and am never ill, I do not take any medication of any sort, so yes walking does work and it is what we are made for.

I've been walking my entire life, up to 2 hours EVERY day. I'm now 43, and I've had the same weight for the past 25 years (62-64 kilos for 1m82), with no diet or any kind of caloric restrictions whatsoever. TRUST ME, walking cures everything

Two years ago I walked 1200 miles up the U.K. to celebrate being 70. I enjoyed every minute of it. Last year it was 500 miles across the North of Spain. This year it will be 300 miles up Wales. Walking is not only great for physical health, it also builds mental resilience

Good day. I am Engr Heracleo R. Rabe from the Philippines. I had been walking and jogging for more than 30 years. A daily 2 hours 7 days a week. I am now 70 years old. I have no medical maintenance. I only take 1 vitamin a day as supplement. I love to hear your sharing on the benefits of long walk.. All you said are true. I experienced it myself. For me I spent my two hours of walking/jogging in prayers and meditations. I plan and hope to continue this exercise for many years to come. Thank you so much for your efforts. . You make me happy and confident. Go's bless us all.

I live in an apartment and I got a dog four months ago. So I have to walk him for him to potty. We walk an hour before I go to work and two hours in the evening….EVERYDAY! High blood pressure runs in my family and every year I had an annual it was slowly creeping up. Well I had it checked and within those four months my top number has decreased by 20. I didn’t know why until i watched this video. I love reading the comments on what walking daily has done for you all. I will definitely continue this even when we get a house. Thanks again! Im very thankful to have learned this!

I weighed 130kg, blood pressure range 140/90 mmHg, fasting blood sugar about 6.0 mmoL. My doctor advised me to start medications which I refused because all I care about at that time was my kidney health. So I had the urge to do walking since I'm heavy and couldn't do jogging and going to a gym is such a fussy activities. Had been long walking for over a year now, only stop when its raining season but I adjusted my schedule since raining always come in the evening so I walk in the morning instead. As a result, current blood pressure range 120/60 mmHg, fasting blood sugar around 4.0 mmoL and I lost over 60kg in a year! Keep moving everyone! No other medicines are better than a healthy lifestyle!

P/S : Of course long walking must be paired with healthy diets. Overall I just practicing calorie deficits eating style. I usually do intermittent fasting once or twice a week. Reduced intakes of junks food especially those that are high in sugar. I started to eat only REAL foods & sometimes nibbling on unhealthy snacks when I craved for ones otherwise fruits would be my first choice!

Those of us who exercise for our health are not doing it to add time to our lives, it is to add quality to our lives. I'm not concerned about the length of my life as God is in control of that. I just want to be the one pushing the wheelchair, not sitting in it.

I walk daily, since the age I started school untill now, 70 years old, still walking every single day but longer than before because i retired 2 years ago and have plenty of time to walk. Not to say when traveling to Europe i have to walk from dawn to dusk across town, all day i should say. And walking is always a pleasure i cannever miss. No prescriptions, no doctor visits needed till now.

I agree. If I only could take a long walk like I use to, it would be a happy day!

Right now it's very hard I have spinal stenosis and I decided to get up off my butt because of the weight that I have gained and at 5ft 9in tall I don't like what I see in the mirror and I am also 65 years old.

I could have had surgery by now but every back surgeon that I have seen specializes in the traditional back surgery I am looking for the most minimal evasive surgeon possible.

But this is my second week walking but I am slowly working my way into it my schedule is 3 days a week right now 1.5 miles but may I say that your video is very encouraging and very much needed great job
🙂 👍

Walking 35 feet from my kitchen to my bedroom to my kitchen is a long walk for me after six MAJOR strokes and having to learn to WALK AGAIN five times!!! I walk from the parking lot to the supermarket (no "capper tag thank you) and walk thru the store pushing a cart. I'm seventy, and can't lift but 20 pounds TOTAL shoulder high on a good day. I'm SUPPOSED to have "home healthcare" and "maid service" but I've never gotten them. I can "two-finger" type for about ten minutes before my hands shake too bad, but I cook, clean, wash dishes, wash my clothes, wash myself, change my bed, live alone and safely drive (had to take a driving test). Many 25 year-olds can't do those things today. It takes me 30 minutes+ to go thru the supermarket and I'm exhausted-and it's NOT a big store. I'm honestly AFRAID to walk outside by myself. What if I can't get back to my car??? I'm single, live alone, can't find "human walker" services...
