Im 58 years old, I quit my job 7 months ago. People gave me the raised eyebrow, I had to do it, I was breaking physically and mentally, to many hours was at the top of the list. I think people are seeing things for what they are. Theres a question of why should I be loyal to an entity that what just as sure cut them off at the knees to save money. The corporate, business mentality has changed and the huddle masses are aware of it. I dont know what the answer is. I think people are realizing theres more to life then selling the best years of your life out for a pension when you’re to old to make a difference. Something’s gotta change but I don’t know if that’s a possibility without a total societal breakdown.

For all of that you just need to just toughen up and get back to work. If you work hard enough and long enough then burnout quits bugging you once you get numb to that feeling.
