We need more preachers like Brother Washer today. I do hope I get the chance to meet him in this life time so I can thank him for not sugar coating the gospel. It was his preaching over Matthew 7 that God used to destroy me in my pride. Up until that day I was a false convert.

How I love this man in Christ, 5 years ago God worked through a sermon he gave at some youth function and it literally turned my life upside down, the raw passion and sincerity and honesty in Paul's message and his character literally raises my blood pressure in pure bliss because he truly is a God fearing man, it is impossible for a person to fake such a fierce loyalty to God, or the devotion or passion for the LORD's Bride.

I am still learning, so I'm not leaning to one or the other. I have observed something though. While I have respect for people on both sides, some Arminianists I've seen argue from emotion and some Calvinists I've seen have an air of condescension to them.
