As a favorite preacher once said, "the Gospel is simple. It takes a theologian to make it confusing"

I am here in Africa, Zimbabwe 🇿🇼.
This is an important ministry you are leading Dr Flowers and your team.
Its a big resource forestry from whence we get rightful and insightful information about our common faith.

Here in Africa and in particular my country, Calvinism is less pronounced.
Few know about it, but these Calvinists are beginning to make steady in-roads into streets and communities as does Adventists, Mormon's, Branhamites and JW's which groups are entrenched here.
Calvinists are so subtle, few realise they led astray when they are already entangled in there.

We'll appreciate prayer from your ministry much as you need ours.

Praise the Lord.

Prodigal son parable against total depravity idea. The father didn't call the son back or force him home. Son came to himself & recognized his condition on his own. He humbled himself, repented.

I am made perfect as God tells us because I died on the cross with Jesus Christ and made perfect in the eyes of God. It’s the imputed righteousness of Jesus that allows me to be glorified in the end.

Calvinist doctrine discourages those who are seeking God logically.

She gave him scriptures that already explained it - but he didn’t agree with the Bible.

The question I ask every Calvinist is that if God chooses to make people on purpose for destruction and only called some for eternal life and most to burn isn't it possible that He actually called you to burn? How do you know God has called you part of the elect over your neighbors? As a result you do all kinds of good works saying, " look at what I'm doing I must be saved. " when the bible says it's a gift lest any man should boast ephesians 2:8-9. The simple fact that you think that you're saved over your neighbors is pride and God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. The bible says in Romans 2:11 there's no partiality with God but the Calvinist says I'm better than you for some reason. 2 Peter 3:9, 1 Timothy 2:4 it's the Father's desire that ALL would come to knowledge of forgiveness and not willing that any should perish but He chooses some for eternal life. Tulip great flower but heretical doctrine

I am a missionary in Haiti and I train national pastors in the Word of God. Your videos help me help my pastors because you show clearly what someone is saying and then give clear, Biblical answers. Just wanted you to know I appreciate your work.

One of the most revealing passages to me against Calvinism is this:

Numbers 14:11
King James Version
11 And the Lord said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?

Calvinists seem to me that they pretend to know more theology than God himself. When the Lord asks this question to Moses probably someone should have sent Calvin from the future to explain to God and Moses that they can't believe until He provides them with "irresistible grace" otherwise they can't act upon Moses's prophecies and God's miracles.

I really like how the woman asks her question. She polite, kind, and softspoken, clearly not trying to "gotcha" John MacArthur, just trying to square a circle. "Mystery" is not an answer; it's a copout.

The more I listen to the explanations of Calvinism the more I realise how twisted and confusing it is, and thankfully I'm actually starting to "make sense" of the confusion. The Gospel is very simple. Calvinists seem to overthink things intellectually and then because they do it with one part of the Bible they have to manipulative other texts to fit the first one.

People's basic objection to "Calvinism" is simply that it doesn't seem fair. Why does God save one person, but allow another to perish in their "freely chosen" sins. Why didn't he just elect everyone to eternal life? This is a tough question and many Christians don't like the consequences of the answer. I struggle with it as well. Paul's response on this issue is "doesn't the Potter have the right over the clay to make one pot for common use and another for special use". People think it casts God in a bad light. But the undeniable fact is it is all over the bible. Faith is a gift that God does not impart to everyone .... why? But we are all called to believe, "whoever believes" can be saved, says Jesus himself, Peter and Paul. The big question is how does this all fit together?? The answer to us humans is it doesn't, it is beyond our comprehension. But deny God sovereignty is salvation is to live in denial. BUT we are genuinely called to believe, and those who do, will be saved.

Thank you so much!
I love that your whole channel is devoted to calling out Calvinism. It makes me sick to think that there is a belief that God would punish those who had no way of ever being saved… The Calvinistic idea needs to be uprooted if we don’t want it to be in contradiction with the Bible and God’s love for us ALL.

Anyone who follows the teachings of a church that has the name of a “reformer” on it, follows traditions of men and not of Christ.

I think Mike Winger clarifies one of the biggest issues with Calvinism, he just says that Faith is not a work. This blew my mind and clarified a lot of things ultimately helping me disaprove of Calvinism. I then read Romans 10 where it says that faith comes “from hearing the word of God” which, to me, is totally consistent to when the Scriptures say that faith is a gift of God, of course! It’s His Word, His revelation. When I understand this it even reveals the importance of evangelism and preaching and hearing the word of God even more than what Calvinism teaches

I was a Calvinist for 8 to 10 years. And I can say for our teachers and leaders, as well for us laymen who confidently promoted Calvinism, that our answers and responses exposed us to be better politicians than Christians. We knew we had to avoid saying certain things and twist other things. And somehow we did it with a clear conscience. Hence, the cult nature of Calvinism.

I’m 71 years old. Been a born again believer and imperfectly walking in Christ for 50+ years and I still don’t get this. Maybe that’s ok and I can live in that tension if I am growing in Christ by His grace and bearing fruit.

If you'll Calvin's "Institutes, " you will discover that God's love is hardly mentioned. This error (Calvinism) is well nigh heresy.
