He basically said that it's always our decision but we don't usually notice because we don't pay attention to our inner processes. So we should focus in our inner processes to understand why we accept to get angry.

Once you do is easy to stop it if you really want to, but you have to catch your reasons to in the first place and do some kind of "negotiation" with the "ego" part of yourself.

While i do believe that the stress that comes with anger is unhealthy, it can be a great motivator to improve ... sometimes people just don't change unless they are forced to feel these emotions, anger although negative is an emotion we are designed to feel and i do believe it has its place and can be used to foster a resolve ... if everything bad that happened in our life was met with total discontent some people would never know when they are needing to change something ... these are ques in life that tell us that maybe the people are surrounded by aren't healthy for us or the actions you're taking aren't going to produce fruitful results unless we do something about it.

His thesis is so simple. Anger poisons your body and mind. So do not poison your body and mind by resorting to hatred. You should not let anger reside in your heart and mind, through self and mind control (calm and peaceful disposition).
