I am 22 and got recently diagnosed with ADHD and my god everything made sense. I used to paint for about 18 hours with no water and didn’t move an inch. My parents always went in my room and were like, “Wait, you didn’t eat anything all day?”

The papers everywhere is an underated detail. And I never realized that postponing the bathroom is an adhd thing!

I do this all the time with video games. I will wake up, get on my pc, and all of a sudden its midnight...

I spent 14 hours reading a book about the Dionne Quintuplets (the first set of quintuplets to survive in 1934). It took me 14 hours because I would read a page, then not register what I read, OCD would flare up and I would read it multiple times over so I wouldn't miss anything, focus so hard on doing that that I forget what I read again, then eventually give up and move on to the next page of the book. Then I spent an hour and a half explaining the entire book to my history teacher the next day.

I still can’t bother to go to the bathroom 😰😰😰 it’s very hard to remember and even if I do I just do not care

Atleast she was aware she needed the bathroom.
Sometimes my brain blocks out all need signals, so I don't realise how much I am hungry/thursty/or need to pee

I love when I'm hyperfocused, it's just my best state, even when it can be detrimental to my body.

I had stayed up for so long( 40 hrs ) that my mom told me she'd ground me if I didn't get some sleep. It was my senior year of highschool and I had forgotten about the A.P biology project that was due before summer break ended and school started. Anyways it was 3 days until it was due and I hyper focused and got it done in less than 2 days and got a 96 on the project

I may have ADHD my doctor hasn’t diagnosed it, but all of these ADHD symptoms are VERY relatable to me, also I’m a teen, so that’s something else.
