Stopping acid isn’t the key, it’s balancing your stomach acid.

You forgot some symptoms, I have acute and I end up feeling freezing from the bone, while covered in clothes and blankets sweating. I know its not as common but some of these more serious symptoms do exist.

I have to got to hospital and get intravenous morphine and drink Pepto Bismol until the pain stops. It takes hours. I don't get as many attacks since my gal bladder got removed.

Reducing your stomach acid is not the answer. You need to have a pH balance of 1-3 in your stomach. Your stomach needs to be very acidic. Avoid PPI’s and use apple cider vinegar capsules instead. Of coarse, everyone is different so see what works. I’d still advice to keep of off tums & omeprazole. Side effects suck.

Honestly, I feel as though I'm dying. I can't keep food down, and I'm extremely fatigued. I noticed the shortness of breath just before I puke, and I'll feel lightheaded just after. It may be a glass of water, I can't keep it down, and I'm literally not eating anything. I mistaken my stomach pains for hunger. I'm not feeling well at all😢
