Honestly that’s a lot for most people especially if they aren’t active. I’m active 10hrs a day on my feet working and I barely can drink that much. If people have a desk job or low activity it’s probably closer to 8oz every 2 hours.

In dry measurements 8oz is a cup and 8oz in liquid is the same as in the dry measurements. Idk if its different the more water you have but 8oz is the same for wet and dry.

I used to hate having my office next to the toilet, but quite frankly these days it’s a blessing.

"We can reasonably say...". Those quantities don't sound reasonable at all. I'm pretty sure the human body has a built in feature that tells us exactly when we should have a drink: it's called thirst.

Just look at the colour of your urine. Light like camomile tea, your fine. More towards orange, drink more.

That’s too much water, you’re depleting yourself of minerals through pee at that point

240ml x 10 hours = 2.4 Liters = To much... Some people are more active, some work in dry environments & vice versa. What each person needs? varies
