I did this everyday for 2 months and finally got my middle splits!!! I was SUPER not-flexible before (had a hard time reaching my toes) so u'll probably get this faster. But this was SO worth it!

Anna McNulty is a legend, because I'm a boy it is still really hard for me but this stretch has helped me because I used to use 3 pillows but now I use one. Thanks to Anna McNulty, you slay queen

Progress
Updating every day!
Day 1:Kinda Hard But Practice makes perfect!
Day2: It's becoming Easy for me These stretches are very helpful
Day 3: didn't do it:( Very busy..
Day 4: A little bit more and I will eventually get my middle splits thank you Anna!
Day5: it's becoming more easyy!!! Tysm
(Btw im the president of the dance club and I hope I get my splits very soon!!)

Update after 2 months: I ALMOST GOT IT❤️❤️❤️ i practice my middle splits for 10 minutes almost everyday❤️

I really want to get my middle splits, but I have naturally closed in hips so it’s a little harder to me, and I’m sure this routine will really help!

I am keeping my progress here

day1: I did the streches and tried the middle split with 4 pillows I felt a little easy so I removed 1 pillow I felt a little hard but I did it for 30sec and removed 1 more pillow it was so painful but I did it.

Day2: I repeated same process I did better but still pains.

Day3: This I touched the 2nd pillow.

Day4: I removed 1 more pillow did not touched but.

Day5: l did the streches 3 time with countdown I touched last pillow.

Day6: I removed the last pillow .

Day7: same as day 6

Day8: my leg reached close to floor.

Day9: l did it


I am so happy right now because my gymnastics teacher told me that I am so fat and i can't make my body flexible . I told her that I will come next month with my flexible body I learnt middle split and next i will learn something . I am proud of my self . It's only because of u Anna thanks a lot and pls "don't judge a book by it's cover" plzz.

Anna, my 47 year old mom got her middle splits today thank to you Anna! I motivated her and she worked through it just 11 months considering she was the least flexible in our family 🥹
Now she's close to front splits aswell!

I’m trying to do the stretches everyday

Day 1 : feeling sore but only 2 and a half pillows needed to feel it

Day 2 : a pillow and a half away

Day 3 : still a pillow and a bit away

Day 4 : a pillow away feeling good

Day 5 : a pillow away still but it doesn’t really hurts as much as day 4

Day 6 : still a pillow away

Day 7 : still a pillow away but I'm not giving up

I'm a gymnast, but I've always been naturally inflexible. I'm on a team that's somewhere between recreational and competitive, but recently my team has gotten more competitive, so my limited flexibility just won't cut it anymore. So, I found this video.
This is only my second day and I'm already down 1 pillow from the first day! Was NOT expecting that!!! Hopefully this routine will continue to work! Thank you so much!

2 week middle split tracking! (This is personal progress for myself but it might help)
🌸Disclaimer: I have never had my middle splits and I am using a wall
Before the routine I'm about 8 inches above the ground
Day 1: I dropped to 5 inches above the ground (also a tip I found is don't use your hands and arms as support like Anna has in the thumbnail but rather grab an object nearby for balance and let gravity do its thing ^^)

Keeping my progress here!

Day 1 : my leg hurts, used 3 pillows
Day 2 : still hurts but worth it. Used 2 pillows now
Day 3 : my legs kinda used to stretches now, not much pain like day 1 and 2. Still use 2 pillows
Day 4 : not much pain! I tried to remove 1 pillow and surprisingly i can the touch pillow a bit! So close!
Day 5 : still in the same position
Day 6 : Skipped cuz im sick
I lost motivations after beeing sick for a whole week but im gonna start again tomorrow!

Dear Anna, you are a saviour. I recently got threatened that if I did not get into a flexible shape I would get kicked off my dance team 😞, I did this routine for a couple days and by day 4 I was flat in my middle splits and on the last pillow, I decided to continue and try to have no pillows and by day 10 i did it!
