Ok, ok hear me out! I have been doing different over split stretches for like 2 months now and I watched this video (ps. I used shoes as blocks...) And I was able to go further then I ever have so thank you so much😊

I’m crying happy tears right now! 😅 I’m not joking🎉 I’m a dancer. I’ve been trying to get the splits for ages and have tried so many exercises and I’ve been doing it for 3+ weeks and I just got it right now! Thank you so much and just to finish my splits hurt a tiny bit so do any of y’all have any tips or exercises

Umm… contortionist & ballet dancer here (who taught Pilates for over a decade & coaches flexibility) proper alignment is super important an can help you get (actually nice, square, usable) splits, avoid injuries etc. I know a lot of ppl just want to touch the floor but doing things right will take you farther safer & more comfortably 😊 also my Mongolian contortion coach told me once: you have to work splits every day, maybe one day off 😉 it’s good & important hip mobility & stability work

I literally have my spilts and I did this for one time a I can almost touch the ground these and way better than 30 minutes exercises
