What's interesting is the fact that this study was published before the ultra-capitalism of the 80s, so, in all likelihood, we are further ahead of schedule than they thought.

We are already too late. We would have had to already had a plan in place and have it enacted to have a chance to make a difference in time but instead our leaders are still trying to do the absolutely least and still take credit. It's disgusting. We are doomed.

I read Limits to Growth in paperback as a 12 yr old in 1972. It made perfect sense then. It makes perfect sense now. I have spent my whole life watching this train wreck coming. I am sure I am not alone.

I'd image the rich would probably just flee to certain states, if not different countries to live if and/or when this starts to take place. The start of the pandemic demonstrated it seems to be what they do.
