The more time i spend in therapy, the more i am confirmed in my belief that its not I who needs all that therapy, but the rest of the world. my failure to adapt to this sickness and disfunction is a testament to my sanity, and not the other way around. but i suffer the consequences. Fun fact: between the 12th and 15th centuries in Europe the average "peasant" could support his entire family by working only 14 weeks per year. The remainder of the year he was free to do as he pleased and many of them would donate their labor to the construction of the cathedrals of the time. It was a period with one of a relatively high standard of living for the average person which is very much counter to the narrative we are often told about it.

We have all been lied to on a massive scale about almost everything.

I was always told it was me who was sick but now I know the society itself is sick so how can individuals living inside the infected organism not eventually get infected themselves?

I reacted badly to this video originally. This is interesting because I really agree nearly everything you say here. I am working in retail to supplement my limited retirement income. This is also a way to keep me connected and is an alternative to complete isolation. Day in and day out I see the social contract in complete tatters. The problem as I see it is that we have handed over all control to the narcissistic psychopaths. Our society reflects all the worst of a codependent relationship with these psychopaths. Here are a few observations I would point out. The narcissistic psychopaths are not the majority. Unfortunately it only takes ONE to ruin the social dynamic in any and every group of people. These psychopaths are metastatic cancer on the body politic and the current prognosis is terminal.
