Detroit artist Clinton Snider captured this drone footage of the flooding in Midland, MI, on Friday May 22. He writes, "The video starts from the Krieger property heading North East upstream along the Tittabawassee River toward Edenville Dam. This is the direct path the water took when the dam broke, the river used to meander it’s way from the spillway previously. On the fly-over you can see a muddy peninsula with tree stumps and debris that were forested just days before. The camera turns at the point where the dam broke we turn to see what once was Wixom Lake. The water that is still flowing is the meeting of the Tittabawassee and Tobacco rivers. The video half circles the spillway and then returns to the starting point moving in the direction the flood waters took."
