Stop drinking alcohol - Alcohol can decrease testosterone and thyroid levels, while increasing cortisol and estrogen - None of this is good for fat loss

Stop eating polyunsaturated fatty acids particularly from refined oils - PUFAs are estrogenic, pro-inflammatory, damage your liver, decrease thyroid and are easily stored in your fat cells

Stop eating refined carbs and starches - These are highly insulinogenic and make you less insulin sensitive.

Eat more protein - Low protein consumption is associate with poor thyroid function, your main metabolic driver. Red meat and eggs, are great options that are full of tons of bioavailable micronutrients

Start lifting weights - 3-5 days a week of lifting will help maintain and build muscle and improve insulin sensitivity and glucose metabolism

Walk as much as you can - 10,000 steps is great, and doing periodic walks throughout the day is ideal

Sleep as much as you can - 7 hours minimum. 8 + preferred. This will help with nearly all hormonal function. Make this a priority.

Didn’t know protein affected thyroid function…several people came to mind. Makes a WHOLE lot of sense! And a ton of sense as to why SO MANY have thyroid issues! Doctors need to do better. They need to take nutrition into their own hands like many of us already have.

Biidznillah, it works for me..
Especially when adding walking 10.000 step a day in one week, and other days just take 5.000 steps at minimum..
And just try to be patient.. it takes time..

When you hear "eat more protien" you need to think "eat more meat" i don't know why people don't just say MEAT

I have to take Estradiol, though, because I had my uterus and ovaries removed. Estrogen is definitely not horrible for me. It's a savinc grace for my heart, brain, bones, and skin. Maybe I misunderstood what he meant, though.

I've been trying to implement most of these. I don't exercise but maybe I'll start walking again and lifting weights tomorrow. I should also get more sleep, but multiple factors are interrupting my circadian rhythm unfortunately. But I've been eating nothing but meat and fruit and a bit of yogurt and I only cook my food in butter. I'm going to try to go raw starting tomorrow or the next day. Wish me good luck

I agree in the consuption of protein, weights.Walking no way, get on a road bike at 70/80% your peak for st least 4 hour out 3 times c week in total of at 200 km.

I love your videos and appreciate all your help for advice, but I have a question on the red meat consumption. My cholesterol is high and my LDL is high and my dr has told me not to have red meat but yet your videos promote red meat which is correct? Is my doctor lying to me?
