Wow! What great advice on how to lose weight while adapting a healthy lifestyle! No expensive gym membership, no costly diet scheme, no ridiculously priced packaged food you must buy for name brand diets.... simply eat pure and natural, eat less and move more. Portion size was my biggest problem. I've always been active, but my consumption of food matched my fervor for working out.

This is really helpful/practical/realistic advice about health, weight loss mindfulness, insight and maturity. Kudos to you for putting this out there!! It's all about being aware of what you're doing, taking responsibility and knowing that you can change. It's not all that difficult but you have to be ready to pay attention to what you're doing and then, without judgement, change your habits sensibly over time.

Honestly I think you looked great beforehand and great now as well. You shouldn't feel ashamed or guilty for gaining the weight initially. You had so much stress and things happening in your life as a mom. I find myself getting so caught up with work sometimes that being healthy doesn't feel like an option and it can be exhausting. I can't even imagine how much a mom would have to go through and how much more hard work it involves. You never did anything wrong and everyone goes on a different path in life. I'm happy that you are where you want to be with your weight and you now and have gotten into healthier habits. Don't ever put yourself down about your weight or body image. We always judge ourselves too hard. You are a great person and you deserve to be happy.
