These practices are designed to help you learn and experience the way in which everything is connected. While this practice targets the shoulders, chest, neck and upper back body - continue to see the body as one moving part.

Research has proven that daily movement can be powerful medicine for anxiety and depression. We have the science to back up the myriad of benefits of mindful breath work, especially when practiced with consistency.

And, I have said it before but I will share again that strength training with less pain and more joy has provided me with a relationship with my body that I never ever thought possible.

Remember, this is a come as you are situation.

Get out of your head and into your body, let’s move!

I love hearing from you in the comments, thank you for sharing!

That was fun! Nice to find a new perspective everytime I hop on the mat with you. 🙃✨️
Hope you are all doing well at this point in our journey? 🙏

A yoga first: I did yoga outside today! ☀It's a cold sunny winter day here, so I put on 3 layers. But doing a cat-cow and feeling the sun in my face everytime I looked up was so worth it 💛

Good morning! I was superduper wobbly throughout the practice, which I guess makes sense I am feeling wobbly in life in general. It was hard not to judgde myself, but in the end I said to myself: you did it, you showed up! Well done everybody for showing up no matter where you are! Lots of love

You hit the nail in the head: I did not sleep well last night and was wobbly throughout. The child’s pose was just what I needed!

Adriene, you have helped me so much I really can't thank you enough! I was diagnosed with M.S. in 2020 and at the time I couldn't really walk and had trouble with my eyes. So to cut a long story short I found someone online who got out of her M.S. by sticking to these 4 things - drinking water, meditating, no sugar and doing yoga! Those 4 things have really worked and done wonders for me (especially yoga) so much so that my last 2 M.R.I. scans revealed some good news! Some of the lesions on my brain have improved and there's no new lesions on my spine! I've done that without any medication so no drug companies can take the credit which is pretty big! I really had no idea we could heal like this until I had to do yoga! Thanks again Adriene you are an angel and namaste to all! 🙏

🌞Day 17🌞 Wow, those high lunges were truly challenging! But now I feel fresh, centered and ready to enjoy my day which is good bc I actually have a job interview today…ahhh. 🤭

I found myself frustrated with my five year old refusing to go to bed hours after bedtime and in my head I heard Adrienes voice saying “my breath is my anchor, my anchor is my breath” (which is WILD cause I never really connected with that mantra before??) I was able to take these incredible breaths and my daughter started breathing with me subconsciously and fell asleep. These tools help us ❤️

What feels good and safe for me is not the same as what might feel good and safe for someone else. A lesson I will take off of the mat with me today. Much love to all!

Day 17 - I'm back after traveling a bit. This felt awesome!

First of all, thanks Adriene for these wonderful practices. I'm 72, I've gained a lot of weight and lost a lot of strength. Downward dog is NOT my favourite pose but I do them. The first day, I could only hold the pose for about 1 second; now after two weeks (or more) I find I can hold the pose for about 10 seconds, so I can feel my strength (and flexibility ) increasing each day. I guess it's good to step out of your comfort zone occasionally. Now, how to keep up the daily practice after January ends!

Today's practice really helped me, I am feeling very down at the moment, and a bit lost and something in this practice really helped me connect to a true self and find some kindness for myself.

It's been a hard month, having these practices to look forward to has keep me going. Even giving moments of hope with my gratitude. Thank you.

I'm doing this in March and it's been so good for my mental health. The first week I was not feeling well due to massive panic attacks but I got on the mat, no matter how bad I felt. I'm now going on ten days with no panic and my anxiety has greatly reduced. I am getting professional counselling too, but I really think the yoga with you Adrienne, is helping me feel safer and stronger in my body. You are an earth angel and so is Benji. Thank you so much

Much slower pace than I expected - this is a good thing, I was wiped out today.

Today I learned to give myself some grace. Had an absolutely crazy day, going non-stop for 12 hours straight and I just had no energy left. So I allowed myself to watch today's practice ... and the only thing I did was breathe and sit on the couch.
I wanted to share this just in case somebody else had a hard day and needs to hear that others are struggling, too.
Tomorrow will be better. We got this. ♥

My mantra for today is: Breathe in joy and strength, breathe out wisdom and peace! Thank you so much for another amazing yoga practice, Adriene and Benji! 🤍🪐🤍
