Much better PID basics than ANY other video I've seen on YT. Thanks!

The best explanation I've seen...and I used to teach this. The simulator I used was an actual process! (No fancy computer simulators). Good job!

Thanks in a million. Great content. Awesome. Very well explained. I couldn't find this explanation--simply put anywhere else. Great teachers are hard to find. Grade: A++💥

I could actually understand what was going on in this video

Thank you very much for your videos.
My English is not very good. At 10'05", make you appear the term DT.
Does DT term means the time in µs between one calculation of PID and the next calculation ?
Does this term affect much the PID in case of it is a very few µs ?

The explanation and microsoft software are awesome! My particular situation does not seem to have a solution though. I want to control the vapor temperature above the liquid. The liquid acts as a slow temperature loop but when the vapor reaches the top of the column before the condenser, it acts more like a fast response. The result is there is no apparent set for PID that keeps the vapor temperature from far exceeding the set point and then a very slow cycle above and below set point. I am using water and want the vapor temperature to be 130 degrees. the best I can do is overshooting about 10 degrees and then drops back to set point and cycles on a 20 minute time scale to +/- 5 degree swing. Any suggestions? The pid unit is a mypin ta4 attached to a vapor point probe and a solid state relay. I have tried dozens of solutions based on the modeling program and dozens more based on the auto tune for the mypin. All have similiar problems

Hey, very well explained
If a Pid loop is set up operating nicely following on set point under sharp inputs. And then in a situation with no input but an external force for example wind is acting to push it of track, which of the P the I or the D is most likely going to need to be adjusted to kelp it on track?

Sir, Will you please tell how we can get the simulator software that you use in the video ?
