Hello sir
I am working in production department on the basis DCS plant( emersion DeltaV)
Nice explaination about PID

00:29 🌐 *Before PID controllers and automation revolution, manual control involved operators using gauges and handwalls to regulate processes in industrial automation.*
01:51 🔄 *PID controllers replaced manual control, providing a more efficient and automated way to regulate processes.*
02:20 📊 *In PID, a transmitter measures the current process value (PV), which is compared to the set point (SP). The difference is the error, and the controller adjusts the control output (CO) to maintain SP.*
04:40 ⚙️ *PLCs and DCSs have PID blocks replacing traditional controllers, offering a more advanced and flexible control mechanism.*
06:44 📈 *PID loops in a DCS involve connecting a flow meter to the analog input module, using a PID block to regulate the process, and sending the output to the analog output module connected to the control valve.*
08:35 🔄 *PID involves three terms - P (Proportional), I (Integral), and D (Derivative), which determine how the control output adjusts to minimize the error. Tuning these terms is crucial for effective PID control.*

hello sir.. great video.. I want to ask about SV and MV, so usually in plant sometime the panel man will put a value in MV also, they put it the value through pid block faceplate. so my question, is it necesary to put the MV value? because through this video, you said that the value MV value will be automatically adjust to fullfill the value of SV.. appreaciate your kind enlightment

Thanks bro pls make video of tunning of PID

Flow tx is installed after control valve. Is it right way. According to me flow tx installed before the control valve. Please suggest me.
