This fall I'm going to be 40 and my goal is to get "Fit Over 40". I invite you to join me on my journey. This video covers a full Chest Workout.

If you're looking to fill out your chest with some solid muscle mass, than you've found the right workout!

In this video you'll get a complete chest workout. I'm going to be using the principles of Positions Of Flexion, which basically means that I'll be working the chest from the mid-range, fully stretched, and peak contracted positions.

Of all the different workout programs, POF is one of my favorites for getting maximum muscle stimulation and a killer pump!

For this workout I did 5 total chest exercises.

Barbell Bench Press - 3 sets of 8-12 reps
Incline Bench Dumbbell Fly - 3 sets of 10-12 reps
Pull Overs - 3 sets of 10-15 reps
Cable Cross Over Fly - 3 sets of 15+ reps
Push Ups - 3 sets of as many reps as you can do

*Optional Exercise: Band Pull Aparts for the rear delts - 2 sets of 15+ reps

Before starting each exercise do a couple warm up sets, working up to your top weight.

41 this june... best shape of my life. I started to get really good results when I dropped the weight and added reps. Now I do 16, 14, 12, with lighter weight and am really seeing a huge improvement (in physique not strength). I have lifted heavy my whole life up till last year but do to back pain I had to lighten it up. Now I feel the best I ever have... do to changing my workout and an inversion table I use daily. I am not the strongest I have ever been but my physique is the best it's ever been... at 41 I am not much worried about benching 400lbs anymore. Now I do my 225 x 16... and get just as good a pump as I use to. Btw... this is the only fitness channel on here worth watching... great work lee.

Hi Lee I'm 46years old, love your fit over 40 workout programmes suits me. Great tip with the pull aparts lee. Too many people are over dominant with the chest as compared to the posterior chain, rounded shoulders are no good!

How about a before and after picture Lee? It would give your viewers an idea of what is possible naturally, since this is very distorted on youtube. Why did you turn to a bodybuilding split this time around and not a full body workout program? Love your content, keep it up!
