Cyrus Ausar suggests different approaches to deal with entitlement. It's important to help others understand that their requests are not always reasonable. It is not our obligation to support someone just because we experienced more success.

Cyrus encourages us to look at the big picture and stay in control of our circumstances. We should not feel guilty or be particularly concerned with anyone outside of our circle.

Too many parents feel entitled to their children's success despite them neglecting and emotionally abusing their children all of their

My roommate is like this. I allowed him to use my wifi to connect with his church's online meetings. My WiFi went down last week and he came knocking on my door acting like he's the one paying the bill. He acted like a child over it and the man is 50!! Next day I tried to reason with him. Told him I'm not giving him access anymore. He was "Not Mad" and that was that.
In my life I have 3 people I trust wholeheartedly. That's all I need.

Sorry if i went on too long. Felt like sharing...

I dated a 34 year old accountant and she never once said "Thank you" when I paid for our meals to 3 different restaurants. She just sat there in silence when the bill came. It's like she just assumed I was going to pay for meals. The vibe I got from her is "Her money is her money and my money is our money.". I ended it with her and she wanted to know why. I never gave her the resson. Yes, it was dumb of me to give her 3 chances but oh well, lesson learned.

Thanks for the upload, Cyrus.
I've been through it too many times and relate to what you're saying.
I am genuinely happy for other people when they succeed, but I don't ask them for anything. Truthfully, I would never want the reputation of being someone who always approaches others with my handout.

Rule number 1- I'm not helping out a grown ass man who is able body---there's opportunities out here but people just refuse to make extra precaution to be go-getters. One of my so-called guys, only converse with me when he is down and out, and he is asking me for money like I'm his bank account--- I just told him, I'm not helping him out anymore unless he helps himself.

Brilliant video. I've worked very ard to pass my drivers test. As soon as I passed I was pestered for lifts off a friend. Now she doesn't even ask, say yes to plans then expects me to turn up (she's not even local to me) and doesn't offer any petrol. I had to chase her for petrol money. But it makes me think, if I didn't pass my test, she wouldn't be asking me anyway. She'd have no choice but to make her own way to plans.

I had a male cousin like that. One time for my bday...my parents, sisters and grandfather took me out to a 5 star restaurant...my mom opened her bug miuth and told him our plans but he wasn't INVITED. He had the nerve to shiw up, had no money to pay for his meal...my older sis had to pay for him and he was 46 years old. We later went to a casino and l won $400, he had the nerve to say to me, you could at least front me some money, l said NO. I reversed psychology. If my dad asked his kids for money like that, l wld be soooo ashamed of him. Cuz had an attitude...later on, he saw me light up a cigarette...he had the nerve to say he was going to tell on me. I was 28 and l told him to go ahead...but my parents aren't stupid. HE NVR csme up in my face for money again.
