Just did these exercises in the gym yesterday and everyone looked at me like I was crazy. Like I was doing wasteful movements lol I lift thousands of cases of beer a week, sometimes a day depending on the holidays for my primary job. As a female, these help me retrace my body to lift correctly especially in weird awkward plane setups, standing up walking them crawling into more weird planar movements like crawl spaces. And even to pull thousands of pounds in pallets. Going in year 3 of beer and these exercises always help me keep from hurting myself.

when I started going to the gym, the first thing my trainer taught me was functional movement. So thankful for that. I can be confident in my core strength and safety

Thanks bro, I was sitting to much while studying which caused hip issues. A standing desk and doing your drills balanced me out pretty quick.

I have to do these exercises as well. I've always had visible abs due to low fat percentage, but not as much 'functional' abs

I want to thank you for your content. These type of core exercises have improved my body immensely. I was doing farmer pulls (or carries with kettle bells) and suitcase pulls. And the Transverse plane by circling the kettle bell around my body. I've never had such an amazing core.

Man I’ve stolen so many of these core exercises for my high school baseball guys while they’re in offseason lifting. Same with the shoulder and back mobility videos. Kick ass channel.

I do isometric and functional core training but tbh from my experience nothing has ever burned my core harder than a weighted sit up. Rows and other exercises of course activate the core and improve overall body strength, but ive never seen or felt better results than regular ol situps for myself. I do boxing and MMA training so we pretty much train our abs daily . Idk maybe im just weird 😄
