I'd like to add my opinion to the first story because I've seen this happened many times. To everyone, your spouse will not be around forever. Separation will come through either death or like in this story divorce. Never take the backseat and put your dreams, education, or career on hold or you'll be left behind. You can work together with your spouse to achieve both your goals.

I gotta add on in my opinion to the second story, I'm 35 years old and I'm at the age where I already got the number of kids I wanted. My husband and I wanted 4 kids, we got 4 kids. And I am so done with having kids. I'm getting old and my body is not like it was when I'm in my 20s. So looking to date again after a divorce and start having kids with another man is a big no no for me. If I'm a nurse and my husband is working a regular job, I don't care, as long as he loves me and our kids, I'm fine with him.

Leng, I agreed with you said. Most of the time, it is sad that women don't honor the fact that the husband work his butt off to put their wife through college. Once she made it, she start pointing finger to who need to get their life together. I'm not saying that this is for all women but I would say that 90 percent of the women are like this. The wife should appreciate that her husband was there at the first place foe her to get her degree. Like you said for us men, degree and income don't matter to us but for women it's a whole different story. The fact is that women will always want more in life even if the men is in the picture or not. Sometime, we all just need to take a step back and really ask yourself be happy with what you got. Having more is not always the best way in life.

Your husband wasn’t up to your standards and you aren’t up to their standards in the dating pool. Funny how that works. I love that Leng mentioned that most men do not mind if their wives make less and it’s okay. But it’s not likely to work out if the tables are turned. Sad that when it comes down to it, men are loyal and gals are about status and material.
