Welp that took a turn lol.
Was not expecting that.

My dad always said everyone wants the perfect person but they never want to be the perfect person that really inspired me to better myself for others

Don't find someone who just makes you happy find someone who makes you a better person

his 'best relationship' advice was fabulous. it's called 'taking responsibility.'

That "be that list" is such a great twist and an honest advice to apply tbh. Because you simply can't demand something from someone if you aren't capable of delivering the same thing. And if "you are" that list, then the process of dating gets easier because you get to save your energy.

Worst: Make it work no matter the situation.
Best: Find someone who challenges you to be the best version of yourself, but won't bully you into being someone else.

Agreed on the worst advice
I was in a relationship with a person who loved me And i kept saying to myself it’s ok as along as they love me I’ll learn to love them…
Spoiler alert, i did not love him in the end
My heart was not happy I wasn’t happy there was something missing I didn’t know…
This was my first relationship, , ,
I am still waiting for the right person💜
I learned that you are not obligated to love someone back this is something i struggle with i feel like i always should give something back to please others..
You’ll lose yourself.
Don’t do that
Accept your feelings and learn to put yourself first

"Find someone who loves you more than you love them." Here is my perspective; if you know you're generally the type to prioritize your partner's needs and have this nurturing personality towards your lover but these same things were hardly reciprocated in your past relationships then I honestly see where this advice may come in handy.. I mean everyone deserves to experience the positive things they contribute in their relationship be reciprocated. It's like hey I am a passionate lover, natural giver but it will be great to find someone who loves me more than I love them, so I do not "overdo" things in my relationship.

Mine would be; Love yourself enough to have a defined relationship with the person you want. Make sure there's an alignment to vision and set your priorities right. You both should also be ready to put in work.

True That. The first part. Heard it so many times. Its not great to be in that position. You marry Someone who loves you immensely and you don't feel the same and you feel bad for not being able to give back the love you are receiving. :(

"...and then be that list"

It's so cool how a few words can have such an affect and deepen the strength of such a clichéd idea

What I got from this video is that #1 real love is equal from both the sides, not more or less on one side or another #2 you don't get what you want instead you get what you are .Thank you .🥰

Number one i stan for that. I dont think it is a bad advice. My boss also told me that same quotes.... find someone who loves u more than u love him. I nvr listen cus duh i just cannot be with someone i dont like. I always reject guys i never like and i did not give them a chance and go for the one i really love the most. I broke that pattern

I am with handsome man, generous, supportive, loyal, honest, rich and he propose to me at age 30 yrs old. At first i didnt fancy him ( didnt like him) but as time passed by. I start loving him . So much so that were finally married. And he spoils me lots just like how i spoil him

And yes love do grow as time passed by. I dont see that quotes as negative unless u r with a person for hidden agenda then thats just being fraud, user.

Someone who can laugh and roll with my odd modes and humor, who won’t get mad that I walk into stuff and forget things a lot. Someone who never makes me feel like my innate playfulness is annoying or too much or god forbid, immature in some way.
Someone who genuinely wants to explore life, try new things all the time, and who is eager to please me. (Because I’m always the one that is more eager and thoughtful).
Someone who is good with where their money goes, and who wants with all their heart to be the best human (and parent and friend and partner) they can be.
Yeah, I guess I do have stuff to do before I am matched

That is so true. Me and a woman had a discussion like that years ago. She said list everything you want in a partner. Be honest and check how many of those things you are. Most people are not what they want in someone else.

Leaving a relationship you’re not happy in is much easier than emotionally damaging someone. But selfish people don’t get that
