This is good. God revealed a lot to me, in the past 6 months, about my emotions and how I’ve put so many walls up to keep people out, that I was keeping Him out and even locked myself out of parts of who I am. I’m doing the work now and it’s a process, because so many things account for why I became this way. But the end result will be great.

It is so hard sometimes to utter words to God … I am so use to him just knowing me and my thoughts and I think that’s good enough. From your video I now know it’s not and I have to open my heart to God and stop shutting the door when something happens or emotions get involved. Awww wow thank God He put this on my feed. And thank you Latrice!! That was huge to hear! You have a new subscriber girl - I’m following on Spotify too! I can come to God just as I am naked and a mess and boldly and myself. He knows me anyway. But how can He begin to do a work in you when you present yourself to be someone you’re not? He can only change us at the altar when we give Him the full, vulnerable, transparent, honest version of ourselves. And that is a mess! We are a mess without God! He knows that cause He created us! He knows that we need Him. We have to be able to go to God, not being perfect and just being ourselves. He can actually work with us that way! God is helping me see how important that authenticity leads to change.

I used to struggle with worship until the Lord set me free and I'm growing in my intimacy with God but I'm declining in my intimacy with people / other saints which is weird since we are the body of Christ but that's just where I'm at.
