How To Cook WELL DONE Steak!

This is my quick and easy recipe on how to cook the perfect well done steak

INGREDIENTS
14oz/400g sirloin steak
30g unsalted butter
1 tsp olive oil
3 sprigs of rosemary
2 crushed garlic cloves
Salt
Black pepper
METHOD
1. Pat the steak dry with a paper towel
2. Season with salt and black pepper
3. Pat the seasoning in and turn over the steak
4. Season the other side
5. Rub the steak into the seasoning
6. Leave to rest at room temperature for 30 minutes
7. Pour olive oil in a cast iron pan on a high heat
8. Sear the steak for one minute
9. Turn the steak over and sear for one more minute
10. Sear the fat cap
11. Add butter, rosemary and garlic cloves
12. Lower the heat and baste for 1 minute
13. Put in the oven at 200c/390f for 10 minutes
14. Remove from the oven and leave to rest for 5 minutes
15. Season with salt
Internal temperature with a meat thermometer/time in the oven
120-125 °F (48-51°C) / 5 minutes for rare
130-135°F (54-57°C) / 6 minutes for medium-rare
135-145°F (57-62°C) / 7 minutes for medium
145-155°F (62-68°C) / 8 minutes for medium-well
155°F+ (68°C+) / 10 minutes+ for well-done
