Thanks for these tips! To support my gut health, I’ve made a habit of drinking hot tea after eating a meal. I usually enjoy ginger, peppermint, spearmint, or chamomile. I’ll also take a digestive enzyme supplement if I’m going to have a very heavy meal. The probiotic/prebiotic by Seed is awesome. I was shocked when it cleared a sinus infection that wasn’t clearing with prescription medication. Also, your baby girl is beautiful! So very happy for you!

Yes having to give up alcohol, sweets and gluten. My stress and anxiety have improved greatly over the past year. So getting my act together and stop eating what i know is not right for me is key. Im hula hoopinig and using weights.

I have been wanting to take the free master classes and informational podcast I see for learning about the Gut Microbiome. I feel that with my practice as a registered nurse this is the direction I would like to go. Holistic and functional health with a focus on nutrition. As I see my patients and as well as myself, do not have enough education in regard to nutrition and how it can help the body. Jehovah God created the vegetation of the earth to strengthen and nourish each part of these bodies we have been blessed with. It has just been within the past 2 decades I believe that we have come to know the GI system is more complex and lends to overall health than we were taught and learned previously. I love this video and all the motivation Dr. Nina, you give us to be better to our mental and physical wellbeing, and also encouraging us to show up for ourselves to learn to love ourselves so that we can be better humans.

I also eat fast. Coming from a large family and also military background. These are things that aid in my eating fast. I have to pay attention or I’ll gobble my food down in minutes. One thing more I noticed by trying to eat slower. Once my food cools off it’s no longer appealing to me. 🤷🏾‍♀️
