If he had been given a seat on the council it might have at least made him feel more accepted by them, Maybe even changed the situation in palpatines office

Anakin's outburst was out of anger (a Dark Side emotion), so yeah it was out of line and rightfully did not get him the rank of master.

be fair. Things had to play out this way because 6, 7, and 8 came out before 1, 2, and 3. Personally, if the story wasn’t already predetermined. I think Anakin would’ve been pissed, but at the end of the day. He probably would’ve just been like

The Jedi masters of the council were highly arrogant so honestly they had no real right to judge Anakin. Also Anakin was more powerful than most of them but not all. Mace windu was really arrogant and threading the line with the dark side honestly too. Striking down palpatine who was supposedly unarmed later on proved that may was not really in the light side

The council themselves where power hungry and didn't want new people to change their ways hence why they didn't let Qui Gon be a part of the council while he was one of the best
