I have been sleeping on the floor for a year; so my legs, knees, ankles and toes have to adapt to my every evening and morning getting down to and up from the floor. It is a very good experience.

I decided to slide off my couch and onto the floor. My laptop was sitting in front of me on a patio chair I had brought inside. I had to google you ignorer to get up!!! Its worked, and now I will keep on exercising with you! I also am quite overweight, and have severe rheumatoid arthritis. One day at a time! What helped me immensely, was the chair in front of me had large curved/higer arms so I was able to support myself. My wrists and arms have zero strength.

In my 70s recovering from broken ankle. Very helpful. Sorry others posting about how/where this won't work. Nothing works everywhere or for every one. But this gives tips that will work for many and when they are planning to get up and down.

I have weakened legs due to neuropathy. I’d like to know how to get up when I’ve fallen without a chair nearby.

That was great. I've found I am quite frightened and depressed about my fitness level as well I've got weak ankles and fragile skin.

Marvellous ! I do long walks and have strong leg muscles, but the knee joints are stiff and pop ?

I was shocked how weak all my muscles were when I tried to get up off the floor. I used to be so strong and in shape - ten years ago lol. I'm 65.

I watched this looking for something to help my husband after he has fallen. It seems good but I’m concerned it may not help in getting him up bc he looses his muscle strength in his upper legs when he falls. What do you think?
