Non of the reasons in your message match my case except software update. No drops, no heating, no water. The green line just shown up while I was reading some email on my phone, while the download of Samsung update in the background, and yes, it's not update yet, the line just shown up after the download is completed.

here with a Samsung s21fe with the same problem, first one line, now two, and more lines will surely appear, not a fall, not water, the phone never falls, it just appeared by magic, I'm just disappointed, I was a big Samsung fan but this lost my faith. My s20 ultra. First 1 green line came. Then entire screen became green in few days. Change some cable inside called flux cable at a shop to fix this. It then reduced to 1 line exactly in the center of the screen. Bought an iphone on same day.

I used my phone today with no issues but a few hours later in the day I find a pink line on my Samsung A73.

I tried all of the methods in the videos on YouTube and non of them have helped. I never had this issue with any of my Samsung phones.

Really disappointing as I supported Samsung for many years
