Vitamin E is a pretty interesting vitamin! It’s a fat-soluble vitamin that is part of the antioxidant family and plays an important role in protecting fats from oxidation. This helps prevent damage to cell membranes and the liver, as well as other tissues.

The Recommended Dietary Allowance for vitamin E for adults 19 years and older is 15 mg per day. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding are recommended to consume 19 mg of vitamin E per day

Vitamin E deficiency is rare because it occurs only when your body doesn't get enough fat or calories from food for normal growth and development. 

The deficiency can also occur if you have an intestinal disorder such as cystic fibrosis that prevents absorption of fat from food. It may also occur if you are fed intravenously without fats added to your diet.

The safe form of Vitamin E is Tocotrienols, not Tocopherols. Do your research on these 2 forms before you take vitamin E.

A lot of these signs and symptoms listed here are also similar to the signs and symptoms I had when i started getting “Guillian Barre Sydrome” so if you start having these signs, please get it checked out sooner than later!!!

You have to remember though that seed oils are highly processed & causes inflammation. Wheat germ oil is also a good source of vitamin E.

Those oils are inflammatory that you named. Go for those other foods you mentioned & healthy oils - EVOO, Coconut Oil, Avocado oil etc

I have seborheic dermatitis n the symptoms get slightly better after taking vit e supplements .

Be sure you don’t have even minor kidney issues. E can make them way worse.

If i used to drink a lot but have changed my evil ways these last 7 years, could I be still suffering a vitimin E deficiency or is it likely resolved? My weight is healthy, I get 300 minutes of cardio a week, intermittent fast and eat a balance, all organic diet. Still, I have an unexplained dry flakiness on my forehead, redness around my neck sometimes and im getting stronger reading glasses every 2 years. I’m 54. Anyone? Am I just getting old? lol.
