7 Signs of Low Vitamin D (How Many do You Have?) 2024

Показать описание
So many people in the industrialized nations are deficient in Vitamin D, it is truly an epidemic. When you consider that it is not just a vitamin, but also a pro-hormone, you can begin to understand the importance of this deficiency.

Vitamin D deficiency can lead to weakened bones, yes, but it can also lead to weakened immune systems as well. The risk of cancer, and many other illnesses, increases with a dropping vitamin D level.

The best way to get Vitamin D is from the Sun and from your diet. If you live too far north for the Sun, and can't get enough in your diet, then you should supplement. Having a healthy Vitamin D level is very important to your good health and longevity.

I asked my doctor about being vitamin D deficient and he scoffed at me & said it was rubbish and declined my request for a blood test. Time for a new doctor I think!

Just wanting to share a public warning - my dad absolutely ruined his kidneys by taking way in excess the RDA, 60, 000 IU’s with K2, he’s currently in hospital due to taking too much, he enjoyed the benefits of D3 so much that he just took more - 2 years later D3 toxicity- eGFR went down to 10. No one really talks about toxicity and most doctors haven’t seen it because it’s rare, but it does happen. Thanks for reading :)

* Get more sun (obviously)
* Eat a ketogenic diet (i.e. Eat more grass-fed butter, egg yolks, pasture-raised pork)

* Dairy is a terrible way to get Vitamin D
* Try all three (Sun, Diet, and Supplement)

I hope people understand how generous this man is being with education that cost him not only materially but, emotionally and spiritually to earn. 12 years to become a Medical Doctor is a long haul and most people are not string enough to succeed at the attempt. Thank You kind physician!!

When I was in nursing school my professor said she lost her son when he was 10. She went through a downward spiral and became extremely depressed life stopped for her. She started talking magnesium and vitamin d together and it changed her life. So of course I started I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression in my teens. And omg I can not tell you how much those two vitamins have changed my life. I don't even have to take antidepressants and anxiety meds anymore, it's been 2 years. I now tell everyone to take those two together. Bc the world needs to know.

About a year ago, I was waking up at night with extreme pain in my crotch which would go down the inside of my left leg. Started taking a potassium tablet & the pain would subside more quickly. Went to my doctor she told me to replace with diet tonic water (am type 2 diabetic) because my potassium levels were too high. Did that but still would get the pains, but this time it would start at my ankles and go up my leg. Someone told me to take vitamin D and have been taking only vitamin D3 both morning & night (3 capsules each time) and am not having any pains. What a relief! Someone told me this is "Restless Leg" Syndrome. I do not know, am 75 and not a doctor. Am just relieved I do not have to pay the high price for tonic water to get the quinine and am not experiencing the nightly pains. Thank you doctor for kindly sharing your knowledge with us.

I suffered from restless leg syndrome for 30 years and finally I asked my doctor about it in spite of reading that there was nothing that could be done for it. He sent me for bloodwork and found out that I was deficient on vitamin D. Just after the very first dose, my RLS disappeared. 😊

Thank you Dr. Berry. I recently started taking vitamin D3 on my own. What a difference it makes. I’ve had pain for years. I go to the VA. They have inferred that the pain is made up. What really gets me is why did they never tell me about D3? Rather than insult me and allow me to be in pain all these years. It’s mean spirited and negligent.

I had to fight 3 doctors to even get my thyroid tested, and after getting results for hypothyroidism; I then had to fight all over again to get further testing to make sure I didn’t have pituitary involvement or hashimoto - and in the things I read I found there is a correlation between low thyroid and low vitamin D. My endocrinologist refused to order a Vit d test, but I was able to get my primary to do it - and I was at a 15 😑😑😑 A huge part of getting proper treatment is, unfortunately, doing your own research and insisting when the doctors are obviously neglecting your care.

I found out by low Vitamin D when I fell off a curb and broke three limbs. I noticed from your video that I was feeling more tired than usual and a little more down in the dumps. When I asked my doctor, he just said it was the nature of where we lived. I should have pursued this more aggressively. Thanks for the video.

I heard things about myself on this. I am elderly and dont get out in the sun rarely. I have recently started taking vitamin D3 daily and have noticed a remarkable difference in my muscle aches and the way my skin bounces back from bruising. Don't you love this wonderful Dr. He is as close to an angel as they come.

I just found out my vita D is extremely low. I've been complaining about muscle and bone pain for 3 yrs and no one has tested me until now. I have had so many infections in this time frame as well. Thank you for your time informing us. I needed to hear this.
