I have about 3 symptoms and the doc says everything is fine. My grandsons wife kept complaining to the doc and the er that she couldn't breathe and her chest hurt. They kept sending her home with a diagnosis of "anxiety". The third time, she went to the hospital in an ambulance because she fell out on the bathroom floor. She died 2 hrs later. The coroner said it was a blood clot in her lung. Their baby was 10 mos old at that time and she will never know her mommy. Why can't they catch these things? They just don't care! Thanks for sharing and have a Blessed Day.

Thanks for this great info. I’m a truck driver and I woke up in my bunker having a mini stroke. I got to the ER and while being waited on it went from a mini stroke to a stroke. It was caused by a blood clot on the right side of my brain unbeknownst to me. I am very fortunate they caught it in time. I could’ve had a brain aneurysm. I was in the hospital for 2 1/2wks. I’m walking w/o assistance, eating healthy (which I had already begun to do) and exercising and doing water aerobics. I’m working on full recovery.

I survived a DVT and PE right after the birth of my son. I was told that after giving birth, women are more vulnerable to blood clots. I had a C-section and first had the clot in my leg which eventually travelled to my lung. Aside from the shortness of breath and chest pain, I had a strange pain in my shoulder and neck. Almost 20 years later, I take nothing for granted and am so lucky to be alive! I had no idea what a blood clot was at the time. Thank you for bringing awareness to this issue!

I suffered double pulmonary embolisms in 2016 at the age of 61. Active in the martial arts and worked out 4-5 hours each week. No prior warning signs, no symptoms. Just woke up to shortness of breath and increasing pain in my right side from the shoulder to my rib cage. I’m alive by e Grace of God and by the medical doctors and personnel who took very good care of me and saved my life. My pulmonologist still cannot find out the cause or reason and I’m on an blood thinner for the rest of my life. I worry about reoccurrence, Dr. Berry.

I had all those symptoms in my leg when I was 19. The doctor said sounds like a blood clot and told me to stop taking my birth control. Didn’t do anything else. No tests, no nothing. Just said no birth control for the rest of my life. Crazy how nonchalant the doctor was.

I have severe menstrual clots. Learned I had adenomyosis. The clots can be so large you can feel them pass like giving birth. It's scary and horrifying if you don't understand.

Almost 30 years ago I put off Medical School but never went back, over the years I've kept up with research but never go to YouTube for Medical Information. If I need real data, I'll get it from peer reviewed journals or my friends who are physicians. I wanted to post and say that has changed recently since discovering your channel. Everything I have watched that I did have information on has been right on target. Your presentations are no only factual but you are obviously on top of the latest information as well which not being in the medical field makes it almost impossible for me to stay on top of on a regular basis. Due to a myriad of cascading issues last fall I ended up with blood sugar that was out of control but also with necrotizing fasciitis requiring multiple major surgeries. My fasting blood sugar is now running about 115 with just one medication due primarily to diet. I've lost more than 150 lbs over the past 7 years but still have more to go and an almost fully KETO diet is making a big difference. I just wanted to post and say thank you as I finally feel I have found a medical channel I can count on to find not just the information I need but also beneficial information not at the forefront of my thoughts.

I had a blood clot in my leg a good few years ago, your right about the pain it is like a cramp but a hot cramp, almost like a bee sting, it was a horrible and painful experience and I think this video is a great piece of advice for all.

I have a clotting disorder diagnosed in Dec 2014. I just had a fall Mar 2021, broke my knee and elbow and developed blood clots a week later in my leg in lung. The blood clot in my leg felt like a 20 min long charlie horse for 4 mornings straight when I woke up. Then on the 5th morning no charlie horse but early that afternoon I had horrible constant catching pain in my chest/lung area. I immediately knew what it was and went to the hospital and was admitted and stayed for 3 days :/ I now have a chronic blood clot in my leg that will NEVER go away :/ Don't ignore the signs, take care of yourself.

When I was about 20 yrs old I started getting a pain in my left shoulder. It hurt when I would breathe in & out. I went to my doctor, who thought I must have injured a muscle in my shoulder, but I had no injuries that I knew of. She then did some manipulations to my back & shoulder to try & help relieve the pain. It didn’t help. I went home, and the next morning I had shortness of breath. I went to work as usual but it was getting so bad a nurse I worked with wheeled me down to the ER (I worked at a hospital at the time). Once there, they did a CT of my chest and told me I was incredibly lucky that I got to the ER when I did. They said if I would have waited a few more hours I might not have made it. I had multiple bilateral clots in my lungs (PE’s) and an infarct in one of my lower parts of one lung. They said they there were so many clots in there they didn’t know how I was even breathing. I had started birth control 1 month prior to this. After some blood work was done they found that I had a rare blood clotting disorder called Antithrombin III deficiency. I am lucky to be alive and thankful it was found so quickly when I got there. I have to be on blood thinners for the rest of my life. But I was able to later on (10 yrs later) have two beautiful babies, safely under close monitoring, lovenox shots, and thrombate at delivery. ❤️

Thank you Dr. Berry for all of your wonderful videos! I’ve been going through as many as I can to learn all I can. I was just diagnosed with diabetes this week unfortunately. But I immediately cut out almost all carbs in my diet, as close to zero as possible. Basically eating only meat & green veggies so far and my glucose has been pretty close to normal by just changing that. So I’m hopeful to reverse this & maintain this lifestyle permanently. Thanks for all of your advise!

I tore my calf and used a wheelchair for a week-ended up with DVT and blood clots in both lungs. My apple watch alerted me of high heart rate with no activity-and yes I was totally out of breath. I had no clue! In ICU for 3 days while they treated the clot. So scary-now I'm checking my pulse all the time to make sure it's not too high for no reason. So important to know the signs y'all!
