The creator of the video posted this on social media. "This video was taken from my third floor apartment in Swannanoa, NC. The city of Asheville has faced unprecedented devastation in the wake of hurricane Helene. All funds donated will be distributed directly to our employees at @timesbarandcoffee so they can cover the costs of food, water, rent and all essentials until we can reopen. Our entire water system has been destroyed, and the current estimates are saying 3+ weeks until the system is repaired.

I was in the middle of the floods that destroyed eastern Kentucky in 2022. We had never had a flood that bad. People poured in from everywhere across the country. People are the ones who helped. Fema flew over in helicopters to look good. Churches and civilians helped us build back and that's what it'll take to build NC and TN back. These people need help like you wouldn't believe and nobody from any government agency are coming to help them. Whatever you see on TV is not the half of what they're going through. There should be convoys packed with supplies headed that way 24/7. People should make this a common practice during times like this. Praying for everyone involved and the families that have been impacted.
