Hurricane Helene caused ‘post-apocalyptic scene’ in North Carolina

More than 100 people are dead, with hundreds more unaccounted for after Hurricane Helene tore a path of destruction through the American southeast. Asheville, N.C., was especially hard hit and described as a ‘post-apocalyptic scene’ where supplies are scarce.
