I don't even have a scale so that it won't drive me crazy. I know if I losing weight by the way my clothes fit.

1. Focusing on water weight
2. Overcompensating for cardio by eating way more than you normally do
3. Only doing cardio (you need resistance training)
4. Focusing too much on low intensity steady state cardio (you need high intensity as well)
5. Overdoing the workout, you'll be tired and want to eat more (your NEAT matters more)

What about dancing? Don't you use different muscle groups to do steps? Doesn’t dancing help to shape the body?

I lost 16kg doing cardio only, got super lean and toned am 4ft 11in and worked up to 15km an hour sprints loved every workout resting heart rate down to 47 bpm

I never ever weight myself and I don't even care how many kilograms I weight, the only thing I care is body fat porcentage not kilos.

I'm that person who does only cardio 🤣 but I do try to incorporate more resistance in my machines while doing cardios, like bit by bit till I get to max and luckily I did developed muscles this way

I BEG TO DIFFER SIR!!!! Cardio isn't Easy!!! Most folks you see on the Cardio machines are doing low intensity steady "Holding on" for under 20 minutes!!! Is the Stairmaster Easy???? HOWEVER I DO AGREE ABOUT YOUR FINDINGS THAT FOLK LIKE ME NEED TO INCORPORATE RESISTANCE TRAINING TO OUR CARDIO ONLY

Most machines have different settings - I prefer the elliptical- I set it to fat burn.. it’s also tracking my heart rate & it keeps me in the fat burning zone … I’ve lost over 70 pounds doing this & eating better… if those were 70 pounds of water weight it’s totally fine with me 😬

I know I shouldn't but I do a lot of cardio because I don't really have the space. Maybe until summer I'll have some space and I wish I was being dramatic but I actually don't have space.

i hate cardio, plus boring … do 5 minutes because feel like need to do it to warm the body …walk outside is diferent i love when weather permits

how much cardio should people do for it to be considered a normal amount? i do resistance training 3 times a week with a 30-minute cardio session, i have beach volleyball practice twice a week and on those days i walk 1-1.5 hours (i walk fast and my heart rate goes higher than when i jog, based on my apple watch and heart rate monitor) and the other 2 days, i may walk or do cardio for like 30 minutes, or rest. i don't want to lose weight, i just want to maintain, because i'm recovering from an eating disorder and i eat a ton of food. is that a lot or too little?
