SO what is HIIT and how does it benefit YOU?!

HIIT involves short bursts of intense exercise alternated with low-intensity recovery periods (or rest). Believe it or not, it is the most efficient way to exercise! Typically, a HIIT workout will range from 10 to 30 minutes in duration. This workout 'HIITS' the sweet spot with 20 minutes!

What's cool about HIIT workouts is that even though the workouts are short, they can produce health benefits similar to twice as much as moderate-intensity exercise

The idea is to make sure that in the active parts of the workout, you must be giving the exercises your ALL, in order to get your heart rate up and get the most out of the workout, and the 'afterburn'

Not only does HIIT provide the benefits of longer-duration exercise in a much shorter amount of time — it may also provide some unique health benefits
1. HIIT workouts burn MORE calories in a shorter amount of time
2. Meaning that it will help you lose fat!
3. Your metabolism is going to get a boost for hours after your workout each time you complete a HIIT session
4. HIIT workouts preserve your hard-earned muscle (and can even help you build muscle- which makes you look leaner and more 'toned')
5. HIIT workouts can help reduce your blood pressure (long-term health yay!)

Been doing this one for about 2-3 weeks now and It will PUSH YOU. I love this one SOO MUCH. 5 pounds down so far, including my questionable eating habits🥴
update: getting dummy toned, also definitely building up endurance, just like I wanted

Anyone wondering, it burns around 210 calories. But since it’s HIIT and our heart rate is so elevated after the working, we will continue burning some amount of calories even after the workout. It’s great that she has three sets of the same workouts so it makes sure our body actually feels each and every move. It does go by quickly because of how she has timed it. Good luck :)

I am a dancer and I train 4 and a half hours 6 days a week, because of corona i can’t train and I thought I give it a try. girl I thought I was in shape I was DYINGGG, great workout hope you post another one like this ❤️

i liked the level of intensity of this one but i HATE how it just repeats 3 times because then in less motivated when i know what’s coming

The day I enjoy a star jump… or any jump for that matter, is the day I’ll know my fitness has reached new heights figuratively and literally. I surprised myself and made it through two out of the three rounds! This will be my push through workout for the rest of august! Thanks again for the great material jo ❤️

I never like a video but this was SPOT ON. No frilly stupid intros, no promos, etc. Straight to the point. And best of all...no talking and there’s music! I hate it when these HIIT videos would have cheesy instructors like they came out of an 80’s aerobics video!

Some are saying this workout wasn't hard enough. Please stop and appreciate her videos! You don't have to complain!😕 I added dumbbells to this along with bands above my knees for resistance and I did 4 sets/rounds and anyone can make a workout their own by doing more sets/rounds and adding weights. Stay healthy and safe everyone! Keep moving!😊

loved the exercises and the stop watch in corner... sweating so much and my HR is 120bpm rn! only managed 2 rounds but I'm gonna keep doing it this week and see if I an make it to the 3rd round!
