I will resume the reason why you should buy psvita in 2019 with a simple phrase:

Sony does not care about it anymore so jailbreak and a lot of tweaks for free.

I bought an original model with a 4gb memory card for 40$ this week and a couple days later a 2000 model with a 65gb memory card for 80$. I'm in love with this thing so far simply for the fact I can play all of my favorie Ps1 games for 6-10$ each.

My buddy bought me a Vita at a pawn shop for $40 here in the states, I then grabbed a PS-TV for $30, memory card (on sale+coupon) 64gb for$40 (totals like $125 w/tax). They have combined become one of my favorite consoles of all time.



I think your love or hate for it will come down entirely to game genre preferences. Do you like RPGs? JRPGs? Visual Novels? Really just Japanese style games in general? Maybe a little but open to try more? This is your absolute favorite thing right here. On the other hand if none of that sounds appealing you are probably going to hate this system. American developers never gave it a ton of love but Japan was all over it giving it a very strong library, just a particular kind of library.

Just bought one used with 6 games 16gb memory card and hard case for $95 and I love it and have become addicted to buying games which I have 29...this console has got me playing games out of my normal preference...mercari has lots of good prices on used and new Vita stuff...

One of the best feature of Vita is that if it was shut down due to low battery while playing a game if you charge it up and turn it back on it will continue to the gamr you last played with

I already have a Nintendo Switch but I'm still here watching this. I used to have a Vita and I regret selling it. I really wanna get both. They're just sooo different.
