Facts. And get sunlight into your eyes (even if they’re closed) as early in your day as possible. Has been a massive game changer for me.

I'm not a gamer, but I am a borderline phone addict ADHDer with gamer children. Thank you for being kind and helpful. You make me feel confident we can do better.

I remember when I was a young teen/ young adult I would sometimes exercise in the morning, afternoon, and late evening... and would be in bed regularly at the same time. Waking up at the same time.

Sometimes... it's about other type of anxiety, fears, trauma stored in the body. ❤

I'm subbing cuz what you said is absolutely spot on. Days where I walk more and use my phone less = days with better sleep

A significant factor that contributes to sleep is the level of adenoside in the brain. Caffiene can desensitize adenosine receptors and make them require more adenosine to make you feel tired or be able to sleep. Adenosine is produced in the body during the breakdown of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), which occurs during exercise since muscle tissue uses ATP as a source of energy. If you don't exercise enough and drink too much caffiene, you will not have enough adenosine to sleep, and your receptors will be too tolerant to the adenosine you already have to be able to sleep. If you have difficulty sleeping and don't exercise, try doing light exercises during the morning or afternoon, such as walking, jogging, pushups, squats, sports, or anything that makes your muscles tired. If the reason you can't sleep is because of adenosine levels, it could potentially fix your problem.

100% agree, whenever I have trouble sleeping its normally because I did something like eat poorly, not exercise, have caffeine too close to bed time etc

Even when i push myself to the limit, i end up taking a whole week or longer to recover because my chronic illnesses flare up and then struggle to fall asleep because my nervous system becomes extremely dysregulated. So i have to be careful with thisl. Lots of rest is important with a little activity but not too much activity lol which is very hard to do!

I joined the gym 2 months back, I Weigh only 57kg as I am 27 years old, but in these two months I can see changes in my body and in my schedule of work .
Yeah sleep is very easy now. I go to bed at 10pm and wake up at 5am.
And I feel very positive now😊😊

The best sleep is when you work all day in the sun.
That will tire you out.
Or walk/run outside. So much nicer than the gym.

Yeah, a great way to help with this, and stay in shape, which will help keep your mind healthy is to get a dumbbell and after every episode or game match (or else time it out to every hour, and just do 10 curls. Otherwise, do 10 pushups (or else however many you can easily do). And doing this, stretched out over a day will help you burn energy the right way, and will even help you just get stronger anyway (cumulative load).
