I know... it's really hard. All of the thoughts, the pressures, the pain, the heartache. All you want to do is sleep and for the stress, anxiety, insomnia and suffering to go away. But there you are... tossing and turning, staring at the ceiling, thinking about all the things you could be getting done, that should have happened, how it would have been. The truth of it all, is that in this moment, all that you truly need is to be present with yourself. To observe the physical sensations, the breath, the emotions, the stimulus and recognize that those stories are just that, stories and feelings that are moving through you. You are never stagnant, all that you experience is temporary and you are being invited to become the witness. To carve out time to find resolve that in the 24hrs making up your day, a third of that time is designed to restore your mind. When you practice yoga nidra you rest into the experiences that are truly meant for your waking life, equanimity. You are enough. You are worthy. And you are loved, just as you are.

It worked! My cat woke me up at 2:30 am and then I started thinking about work! This helped me focus on the body relax and let go!

I will have to listen to this one in the middle of the day to hear the full story. I tried a few times last night but never got too far before falling asleep 😴 so if sleep is the aim. this a great practice 😊🤗
