Join me and my crew for this 15 minute Slow Stretch for Tight Low Back & Hips to increase hip flexibility & release tension. The Low Back & Hips often get tight and sore after long periods of sitting, and sometimes can even cause pain in those areas. Great cool down for athletes or unwind stretch after sitting all day! Give back to you body! Use your breath to deepen the stretch and put yourself into recovery mode, that means get out of a stressed out state. Try to make the exhale longer than the inhale. ❤️ Let's unwind.

❤Sometimes we need to change the way we think about stretching. Instead of feeling like it's not good use of your time, we need to say to ourselves, I need this in order to be my best. Not only in my workouts, but also to give myself grace, and be ok with slowing down and giving back to me. BONUS you tap into your parasympathetic nervous system (PSNS). When the PSNS is activated, it slows our heart and breathing rates, lowers blood pressure and promotes digestion. Our body enters a state of relaxation, and this relaxation breeds recovery. The more time we spend in a PSNS state, the healthier we are.

I had some lower back pain and I decided to do this workout now, WOW Michelle you are really a miracle worker. My back feels so good. I am definitely going to do this at least twice a week. God bless you and your driveway crew 🙏🏽❤️
