Thanks. No surprise for me of course. I’m carnivore/keto and it’s eggs every single day without fail.

I eat 4 to 5 eggs every morning. I might change the protein from time to time, but 90% of the time, that's my breakfast. I got 10 laying chicks, so the eggs are always fresh. I'll have that with a toast of organic sourdough bread and three cubes of local cheese. I live in a small village so everything I get is locally sourced, including the wheat used to make the bread (our baker is awesome). It's amazing, by far my favorite breakfast. I never feel like snacking, or if I do, it'll be a couple cubes of canary melon or cantaloupe, or maybe a mango. Then for lunch, since we both work from home, we'll have a steak with some cucumber slices and/or carrots, sometimes a bit of white rice, then we'll go take a 45 minutes hike on the trail behind the house. For dinner, it'll vary, but it's usually a good protein (duck, salmon, turkey, chicken..) with white rice and season veggies. We try to avoid vegetables high in oxalate, so that's why we rarely eat potatoes too. But sometimes, we feel like it, so it'll replace the rice. Not too often though. Once in a while, we'll treat ourselves with a little dessert, cause you gotta live too. But it'll always be something homemade. It's 10x better, we can control both the portions and the ingredients and the sugar amount. Desserts are rare, but if we feel like it, we don't feel guilty about it.
We've been having that diet (or close to it) for almost three years now, since we've moved out of the city. We use to eat from the restaurant 3 times a week at least, plus all the crap we'd buy from the convenience store and bakeries. We moved out of the city for we got a German Shepherd, so not only do we eat better, but he's "forcing" us to go out for walks more than we ever would by ourselves. Crazy how better we feel since we made those changes. Our skin looks healthier, our energy level is much higher, our sleep is deeper. We don't have access to unhealthy choices, so it's just not an option. And when we do go out and buy a crappy food (out of nostalgia) and bring it back home, we eat a bite or two and just throw it away, for it doesn't taste good at all anymore. So we've simply stopped buying all the crap altogether. We have a hard time figuring out how we managed to eat such crap for so long! It's unfathomable the amount of bad habits we use to have when we lived in the city.
I really wish we made those changes a while ago... but it didn't happen by itself. It's really the change of environment (and the dog!) that made us change that much.

This is why I’m a new fan of this channel. Not only her fasting guidelines and knowledge but also her common sense approach to nutrition. I love that! Eggs are like the perfect protein, especially for gym rats like me. Dr. Mindy nailed it!❤

Awesome!! Thank you. 😊
I make an omelet with 3 organic eggs, asparagus, mushrooms, sharp cheddar cheese, turmeric, salt and pepper, in the morning. YUM! That with a side of organic strawberries, organic blueberries and organic blackberries, and I'm good for at least 4 hours!

I usually have at least one egg a day most days, which I find can be surprisingly filling, and was afraid this video was going to be saying they're a bad food choice. Really encouraged to hear about all the nutrients in them and benefits - I knew about the protein and amino acids but not the other ones. Will definitely incorporate more into my nutrition plan. There used to be an advertising slogan here in the UK, "go to work on an egg" maybe they should bring that back!

Eggs have been a daily item for me as well. I'm down 84 lbs. Feel amazing. Thank you, Dr Mindy ❤ I went from a tight size 18 pant to a size 6 but I can wear a size

Most people don't realize that our own body is capable of creating its own cholesterol and with that production it also regulates the amount of cholesterol it creates. When the body notices high levels, it slows down production and vise versa. WHOLE eggs is a superfood with the yolks being LOADED with multiple vitamins. I eat 4 to 5 "pasture raised" eggs EVERY day and have never felt better and I'm 52 years old!

Hello, Dra Mindy. Is it good to eat 3 boiled eggs every day? I am now on my 14th day 15 hours of intermittent fasting. Grateful for your podcast about fasting. I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism with 0.010 TSH. under atenolol and micardis. I felt anxious when I learned that my blood pressure is getting higher, 150/ 100 despite taking meds. I've decided to discontinue all of my medication without telling my Dr😢.. Today is one of the happiest days of my life, because this is the first time my BP has become 123/ 75 since 2022. I watch your videos every day since I knew about you. Indeed, fasting should be our way of life.Thank you so much!❤ ❤❤❤

I could never understand the craze of eating only egg whites. 😝 An egg is not an egg without the yolk.

I love having eggs with cheese, avacado, chopped tomatoes, mayo or sour cream. Soo yummy!
