Zercher Squats feel amazing on my quads but the only downside is pressure on your forearms, i guess this exercise is better with a higher rep range and less weight

I love Zercher Squats because I can get super deep and it's a break for my lower back since the bar isn't on my lower back.

I only have access to zercher squats and I naturally struggle to build quads, as I am more posterior biased. I had already heard about lightweight goblet squats with the tweaks you've shown today, but watching you share this tip as well and recommending it for serious weight like in a zercher, I trust that advice much much more and I think I'll be able to make great use of it. Thank you

I freakin love zerchers. The depth and the concentrated focus these squats place on your quads is beyond any lift I have done for quads. You want to leave the gym with quads so pumped and full of blood and muscles that you can barely buckle yourself under your quads? This is your lift.

I agree with you Peter, I do Z-squats and I prefer it over front squats and I can go heavier on Z-squats than front squats. I can go up to 315 lbs on Z-squats, it's harder for me to go that heavy on front squats cause the bar usually rolls off me so I prefer Z-squats and my quads have improved by me doing them.

I just did this for the first time .. started with the bar then ended up with 2 45s .. hell of a workout .. apart from the squatting it's a workout just holding the weight in your arms .. I'm definitely adding this to my routine

Using these in place of the front squats in the 5 day old school mass gain program recently and they are definitely cooking my quads. Follow them up with leg extensions(don't have the recommended leg press) if you don't mind not being able to handle stairs for a little bit.

Thankfully with modern gym equipment and machines I can hit that same muscle group with the right foot position on a Hack Squat machine. And Im not limited by the load my elbows can take. But it is good to have and know your options if you dont have the equipment available to you.
