Massive depreciation, brutal reliability, and junk cars are displayed in our video this week. These are my opinions, but they're backed up with lots of research and facts about the cars. We'll walk through some of the technical details of how these are built and what's in them, but we'll also talk about why you might find your bank account being drained by these junk cars.

In my opinion, these are the worst cars to buy in a lot of ways. Avoid these cars!

He was speaking straight facts on the depreciation of the 7 series. Imagine financing a vehicle that costs 100, 000 dollars and then 2 years later try to trade it in only to be told your vehicle is only worth 40, 000 and you have the pay off all the negative equity in order to get into another vehicle damn that’s crazy

The first gasoline powered car was built 138 freakin years ago, so reliability issues are absolutely UNNACCEPTABLE in this day and age. Any automaker who puts out an unreliable car should be boycotted out of existence.

By a shot, this channel is the most informative channel on youtube for the consumer

Stellantis proudly sells garbage. Sometimes pretty garbage, but still garbage. I have a friend who bought a 2022 Jeep Wrangler. Nothing but mechanical problems and excuses from the dealer she bought it from.

I just sold my Dodge Challenger 6.4 Shaker 57 of 70 aniversery fully speced. Drag pack, performance pack in Gold Rush color with Matt hood, roof trunck, and tail. At 28k my water pump leaked. At 47k the infamous hemi tick, mis fiers on cylinder 6 due to coil pack, and spark plug. Both my window actuators went out 3 times, my defrost went out wich requires running wires from front to trunk. All under warrenty. My water pump went out again at 48k.... I've had other chargers and Challengers with no issues, but from 2020 and up there are major issues even the high trims, andbi have friends with the same issues.

I have a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze LT and I have had no problems with it. I am the original owner. Granted, it's only got 46, 000 miles on it.

The depreciation on the XJ and 7 Series is brutal. Money down the drain.

I had a 2015 Chevy Cruze LTZ that I bought brand new when it came out. Put 158k miles on it and the only problem I ever had was at 110k miles the valve cover gasket needed to be changed as it was starting to leak oil. Was a simple easy job to do. And I had to upgrade the brake rotors as they warped on the first trip to the mountains in the car. Outside of that it was reliable provided you take care of the car. Keep up with maintenance. The downside though is well I hated the car lol. Was the most uncomfortable cheaply made car I've ever driven. Everything will rattle. If you are on a 8+ hour road trip your lower back and hips will hate you. I have a 2014 Mercedes E350 coupe now that has been rock solid and much more comfortable on trips, still gets 30mpg, although premium fuel costs, and has been reliable. It's now at 128k miles and still trucking. That is probably one thing I would advise on anyone buying Mercedes. Buy one that uses a NA engine. Turbos / supercharges just adds more wear and tear. Unless you have deeper pockets to cover those kind of expenses.

I would NEVER buy anyone of these cars.

Actually the Charger isn’t as bad a vehicle as you described..

The Mitsubishi Mirage really shouldn't be on that list. "Doors that fall off" anecdotes isn't exactly what I would call a technical analysis of the car. I had a 2019 and I can tell you when I hit that deer at 70mph on the Garden State Parkway last year in November the driver airbag deployed as well as the knee airbag. The car fell apart but it's supposed to do that to absorb the energy and I walked away. Is it loaded with cheap plastics from the Mattel toy aisle? Yes. Is it the slowest gasoline powered production car in the market today? Probably. But I have to tell you I had my Mirage for two years, crashed it with 33k miles and the car never had rattles or squeaks. They make these in Thailand and sell the 💩 out of them there and in the Philippines. Fuel economy isn't spectacular for a 3 cylinder, you get 30-40mph depending on the conditions. But I would recommend this car to anyone who doesn't have a lot of money and is looking to get it new with that 10/100k powertrain warranty. You just need to +1 or +2 the tires and that's really it.

Excellent pocketful of thumbtacks: No matter which one you pick, you're gonna get stuck!
You've covered some real losers, all earned. I would've added the Nissan Versa. I gotten plenty of tears telling Versa owners how little I'm gonna give them on their worthless trade. I always started with, "You know, you'll probably get much more selling this on the private market..."🥺

Pro tip: open the door all the way til it stops. Then, apply a bit of pressure outwards and observe the sill where the hinges are bolted in. If you notice the hinges base moves, then the door will sag in the future.

My friend wanted to be cool, so he got a 2016 dodge charger, and it has put him in debt from the high interest, the repairs, gas milage and speeding tickets 🤣, meanwhile i'm in my 2013 Toyota Corolla only doing oil changes with zero mechanical issues.

Mitsubishi has not been any count ever since the whole DSM conglomeration ended. DSM had some quality stuff. The Eclipse the 3000GT the Stealth and Eagle Talon all were bona fide legit good cars butt before and after DSM Mitsubishi always sucked.

Bologna. I have a 14' R/T and it's been great. Nearly 200, 000 miles on it, runs like a top. Bought it when it was 3 years old with 50, 000 miles. Regular oil changes, tranny fluid changes, and coolant changes, and it has not giving me any real problems. And yes, I would love a Scat Pack and would buy one If I could afford it.

Showing a used rent a car beater Chrysler 200 that hasn't been made in like 9 years! FYI the Dodge Charger was a long in the tooth platform that was very reliable because they had worked out any bugs long ago.
