AVOID These Cars With The Worst Engines EVER

I call these scrapyard specials. These are the worst engines ever produced...at least as far as I'm concerned. There are cars from BMW, Toyota, and more in our list and you might even have owned a few of these cars.

I'm telling you that these are the #used #cars that you want to avoid on the market. They're some of the #worst cars to buy!

Where we believe that Life's Too Short To Drive Boring Cars so we just don't and you shouldn't either.

Funny that the BMW's ultimate driving machines turn into a money ptt.

I will never understand why people pay all that money for a BMW, but don't bother to change the oil... I drive a 2016 Scion iM and I still do the oil 3k to 5k (I know its ridiculous but I don't care lol). The car still looks nearly brand new inside and out.

I KNEW you'd do a BMW first !😃 I gave thought to Kia/Hyundai but the engine recalls scared me away. They're really nice cars but the engines are a roll of the dice. Better to go with the sure thing in the Honda and Toyota.

The only brands I like are the older Fords Toyota Lexus and Honda and some Rams mostly the Cummins 2500 and 3500 pick-ups

Wait he's complaining about changing a head gasket at 500k miles? I mean if the car still ran after all those miles and that's the main thing you need to change that's nothing to complain about

I hope the person who bought the Kia with the "Sold" notice, watched this video and backed out of the deal.

I've replaced the engine in my 2019 Hyundai Tucson three times. All the engines had less than 50.000 miles on them. Thankfully, the car didn't catch on fire, but they left me stranded and it's costly. I currently am still driving it while waiting for my new Toyota Rav4 XLE to arrive. Praying the engine doesn't crap out in the meantime. Never again will I ever buy a Hyundai. Lesson learned the hard way!

My wife had a Kia Optima. 2.4 GDI. Been in for the same recall 5 TIMES! Kia were awful to deal with. Had to pay $400 tow and they gave us $100 back after 4 months!!! Will never buy a Kia again. Earlier Sebring Convertibles had the 2.5 V6. They were not as bad as the 2.7 V6 and internal water pumps. Ecoboost engines have or had a similar design.

I love watching these videos of trash engines then seeing people on the road driving them haha. It’s unbelievable to me that people don’t do a simple google search before spending so much money on a vehicle.

I would also not buy any Chrysler vehicle with the 3.7 L V6 engine or the 4.7 L V8 engine, because they blow head gaskets a lot.

The 2002 to 2004 Toyota Camry with the 2.4 engine had a major defect. The head bolts would start coming out of the engines. To fix them, new inserts had to be put in the holes to bolt in the new bolts.
I owned a 2003 camry and this happened. Oil was pouring out down the front of the engine. Was an expensive repair. Toyota dealer just wanted to replace the engine and not fix the problem. Had it fixed at an independent garage. Avoid buying these 4 cyl Camrys unless you know the head bolts were replaced.

Switching from a bmw to a gs350 right now, seems like the best decision of my life

Great subject, too often if it sounds to good to be true. Work way too hard for my money, last thing I need is to solve someone's car problems. I once swapped the motor in a BMW, because I had so much money tied up in repairs, I would have suffered a catastrophic loss, to give up. Bought the car from my daughter who never had a single problem fixed because of repair costs. I knew nothing about BMW, didn't even know they were considered sports cars, this 325XI sucked me in the first time I drove it. It's a disease, possibly a mental flaw if you have not contracted it, run I tell you run, and never look back. Thanks for another great video, there are numbers you can call for gambling, or drug problems, surely you can receive help for your BMW addiction.

Honestly I've had my bmw x5 50i, 2015, for a whole year and never had issues, have a friend who has a 2018 x5m running 5 years strong with zero issues. I feel like the S63 and N63 are hit or miss. Just have to get lucky.

I disagree with the N20 being on this list. It’s a solid unit. Change your oil and the chain will be fine. Every BMW has issues with leaking VCG and Oil Filter Housing Gasket, even the venerable M54.

Thank you for that information, wouldn't want to get stuck with one on those money pits. 👍🏻

Hey, as always thank you for your videos!
What do you think about Volvo S90?

Like the list, would extend it to multiple FCA products (basically all of their engine starting for those on the RAM and Jeeps), Ford 4 cylinders, Mini and the Land Rovers. Keep up the good work👍👍

Damn. We have that 3.0 in the Rx300. Been doing very well so far at 170k. Still changing the oil every 3k miles. Replaced original battery that was 15 years old
