I've owned my 2012 Hyundai Elantra for 11 years and have had great service with it. I'm sitting on 264, 000 miles on the clock and still have the original AC system and no major repairs and still don't lose any of my fluid levels between oil changes. This has been the most reliable vehicle that I've ever owned and I've owned a lot of different makes including Toyota's, Honda's and Nissan's and a few domestic cars and trucks. Just do your research before you buy.

Almost all american cars are pieces of junk. For me the 3 best car brands are Toyota, Toyota and ... Toyota:)

"A nice little rounded back end." Women like to hear that too.

Chrysler-Fiat/Stellantis products. No thanks. Including that wonderful "Miser-rotti"; an over-priced Dodge, with parts right out of the Chrysler parts bin. Until it's maintenance/repair time then the Dodge labor and parts costs are out the window and few more sheckles extracted from the wallet is painful. Kia/Hyundia? Proof that a turd can be polished, at least for a short while.

Excellent to the point video. As an auto industry veteran it seems the “Junk to Quality” ratio is definitely tilting to the former and away from the latter. Keep making these great vids!

I've had two Kia Sorento's over the last 10 year's, a 2012 and a 2015, and I found both vehicles to be very reliable and relatively inexpensive to maintain. Other than regular maintenance items, oil changes, filters, a one time new battery, the only problem I had that required professional repair was a leaking oil pressure sensor. Come to find out the oil pressure sensor was a recall item that Kia repaired for free. Otherwise, both vehicles ran great and never broke down.

I stopped my sister from buying a Tesla. She has no idea of the problems I saved her from.

I use to have a Chrysler 200, wasn’t a bad car. Only thing that went out was the thermostat which was common on them. Otherwise it gave me good faithful service the time I had it, trades it for a tundra. Don’t regret it. As for Tesla, they are cool, and accelerating in them is fun but interior felt cheap for the money. The auto braking was atrocious at low speeds and I don’t enjoy you have to access everything from the screen. I could buy all the 99 Camrys ever and each of them will outlast the Tesla and go further miles wise in one trip.

Informative Video thanks, however, I have a 2023 Tesla Model Y Long Range and its the best car we have ever owned. We have a range of 330 miles. It did cost us $600 to install a Tesla charger at home, but got a $300 rebate from out Utility company. It cost us .11 cents per KWH (48 Miles per KWH) while charging at home off peek. We drove it from Indianapolis, IN to Mesa AZ without "Range Anxiety". You just put in your destination and it guides you to the appropriate Supper Charger, tells you % of battery when you get there and how long to charge it, not sure where you got the 8 hours charging time from, but the average time was 10 minutes to 20 minutes for us. At our rental house we use the 110V standard plug to charge and yes it will take up to 12 hours, but for running around town we do not needperfect

I watched a guy on YouTube fix a Kia Sportage that had a loose connector, under the front hood, under the fuse box. How he found it was fascinating. The car had been to numerous Kia dealerships, and nobody had found the real issue. One loose connector plug, under the fuse box, into one of the several fuse box blocks, in the fuse box. What an amazing catch by that mechanic.

Can you stop sharing your opinion of the vehicle's appearance? That's subjective and not the point of your title. I honestly end up FF>> to your mechanical and operation details, which are very valuable. Just annoying I skip a third of your videos.

So much lack of awareness and common sense by so many car buyers. No wonder kia hyundai sales are doing well.

I remembered in 1995-1996, my family bought a Ford Windstar brand new off the Ford lot. About a year later the engine 💩 on us and we swore off domestic vehicles for life!

I'm surprised the Renegade didn't make the list. I had one when they were brand new, right before the coof, and that thing was in the shop every month. The only bright side was that I got to drive a different new Chrysler product every single month when loaners were still a thing. I still remember my boss and teamnate busting a gut when I was driving them to lunch, and the loaner Ram 1500 blew up too... Oh Mopar.

I have a 2015 KIA Soul and a 2023 KIA Sorento.

The near perfect performance of the Soul these last 8 years greatly influenced my decision to purchase the Sorento and drop the Toyota Highlander as a Family SUV.

So yes KIA do manufacture excellent Brands of Cars.
