I would love it if you get a chance to fully review your C300.

Worst vehicle I ever had was a Pontiac G6. Absolute trash... I put thousands of dollars into it replacing electronics, steering, engine rebuild, etc. Just when I thought I was out of the woods, two weeks later there would be a new failure not even related to the last one. After the last fix we ended up giving it to our youngest for free as a "first vehicle." But that car must have been built on a Friday or something, I'll never buy a GM product again. I now have a Lexus... which so far is the complete opposite of that nightmare.

I think everyone who’s owned a BMW starts to realize when things are about to go downhill. It’s at that moment, you’ll see us driving faster than usual as we can’t get the the dealer fast enough to trade it in. I’ve only had one, and in the beginning, it was great. But once it hit 70000miles, I was literally spending about $1000 in repairs for every 1000 miles I drove.

I really enjoy your videos. You are 100% correct. I was a car mechanic for years. The Jeeps are totally trash. I own a automatic transmission and eventually will stop you from shifting. YET my Toyota Highlander (that was a year older then this Jeep) that had a small white button next to the shifter that will allow you to shift the vehicle. In the Jeep, I had to tear apart the center console and remove the rubber grommet and shift it with needle nose pliers.
You are very intelligent BUT no one will listen.
Great video.

Great video, I’ve owned BMW in the past, but every time it went to the shop, it was 1k in repairs. Ending up going Lexus route.

I am an original owner of a 2018 230i xDrive and I have had so many problems with it. Little things over two years and then so many electric issues or something with the wheels. Very fun to drive. Best driving vehicle I’ve ever owned but the headaches are a plenty. It was my first BMW so I was not used to the reputation, but after mechanics have checked it out it’s always the same story: plastic parts which eventually break or degrade and odd engineering choices. My 4 year warranty is almost up on it, and when I look at what was covered under warranty and what hasn’t been, it’s my first and last BMW. Such a headache when something goes wrong with these cars.

I had a 2009 135 with the n54 engine. I didn’t realize that this was bmw’s first gen DI engine. I was on the forums to figure out future maintenance. Fuel injectors, hpfp replacement, engine valve cleaning. I had all that done. Sold it with 90k miles and running like a champ. Great car, just didn’t want to spend extra bucks for long term maintenance.

I’ve had a 98 ML320 and it’s been great. I’ve driven it from 110k km to 200 and no issues at all. I have heard the 500s we’re junk but the 320 was good for me. Rust for sure was bad, once it started it progressed very fast. So I got rid of it. Bought for 3.5k sold for the same amount hehe :)

I agree, Mark. Not worth owning. Just think of all the money spent.

There's nothing that's more of a pain in the arse than your car breaking down.
Apart from the cost, the head aches and knowing you can't trust the dealer or just about any mechanic for that matter.
Am sure you will have better luck in the future amigo.
Avoid those money pits at all costs.

There are 2 scenarios where you buy a BMW:
1-You genuinely love working on a car in your free time off work.
2-Your net worth is over $1M and spending $20, 000-30, 000 on someone else to repair your BMW over 6-8 years of ownership is pocket change.
