I’ve just learned… be straight forward, don’t beat around the bush, tell them exactly why you’re calling and keep that shit brief

I usually call very angry and then let them diffuse the situation. Works every time. No one expects an angry cold call.

Use how have you been, instead of how are you doing will give off an impression that you already know each other. 9/10 they will lower their guard.
