Weighted pushups are great. Been working on 100 pushups per day and the weighted ones are definitely good for the grind.

You came right on time with this one. I have been progressing. Can do Reg, Pike, Decline, and diamond Push-ups. Needed different variations to start training. Thank you, Chris!

Pushups are my favorite workout as of right now. I'm 38 years old and I just started taking working out seriously and I made my channel to hold myself accountable. I started off at 155lbs I'm currently 167 and my goal is 180-200 lbs. I stand at 6'1. Any encouragement, support and help would be greatly appreciated. I love your channel. And I appreciate all the extra tips.

Kaiser Permanente did what I think is an impactful study on pushups. They followed firefighters over 10 years and they found that those who could do 40 pushups in 60 seconds were virtually heart attack proof. They chose firefighters because they have long periods of inactivity followed by short burst of energetic activity while being exposed to extreme heat and often, toxic chemicals, which may precipitate cardiac failure. Not sure if it's the pushups themselves that lower risk, or if its simply an indicator of overall fitness. But just incase it's the first, I started doing 60 seconds of pushups, and then I continue until failure at a lower pace So far, I can do about 55 pushups in 60 seconds and then continuer to about 80 altogether, until I can't do more, except for a drop set of a few knee pushups.
at any rate, it seems like a good Sprint Intensity Training routine.
