“The Big Six”
@stopchasingpain gifted us with this lymphatic reset, which I adore for its simplicity and speed. The big six is something I teach to all my clients so why not you?
Let’s flow!!
‼️These points have to be addressed IN ORDER. There’s a method to the madness, and the madness is fluid dynamics. The natural currents of our internal ocean. Flow, not force…
The Big 6:
1. Terminus. A convergence of fluid pipes that return lymph to our circulatory system. We start here to create a vacuum.
2. Lenny the lymph node. The largest node in the neck, right by our vagus nerve!
3. Axillary. Our pits. Choked by tight clothing and the first world problems of not needing to lift our arms above our heads.
4. Abdomen. Lack of thoracic mobility, tight diaphragms and shallow breathing mean we don’t change the pressure in our abdomen enough.
5. Inguinal. The fluid in our hips gets locked up because we sit all day, putting a major kink in our lymphatic hose.
6. Popliteus. The posterior knee is notorious for arteriosclerosis. The few nodes back here are compressed as we sit with our knees at 90 degrees.
After you’ve rubbed, slapped, or tapped these 6 points, “lymph it out” a little at the end to get everything moving.
Your calf muscles (and gravity) become a pump for moving lymph from the lower body back up towards the top.
Do this once a day for a few minutes. See what changes!
Thanks again to Dr. Perry of @stopchasingpain for this amazing tool. You are such a gift to the lymphatic world. We lymph love ya.
👆🏼 Follow this man. He’s Yoda.👆🏼
Xoxo,
Leah
